Soubir Acharya is the Chief Architect at FatBrain. Soubir has also previously worked as the Founder and CTO at Kubisys from April 2007 to June 2019, and as the Technical Leader/Principal Architect at Syncsort from January 1999 to December 2007.

Soubir has extensive experience in developing and launching innovative products in the tech industry. Soubir founded Kubisys, which offers On-demand Dev, QA, Staging Environments based on live production. The product was launched at InterOp 2010 and received recognition from Gartner as a Cool Vendor in DevOps in 2013. Soubir successfully acquired prestigious law firms, manufacturing, and retail clients while developing partners and sales channels and managing operations. Under their leadership, Kubisys generated 5 million in revenue.

At Syncsort, Soubir created and nurtured a partnership with Network Appliance, integrating their flagship data protection product Backup Express with NetApp's SnapVault technology. This was a first of its kind incremental image backup solution with Instant Availability. The product generated 250m+ revenue from 2005 to date. Soubir also designed clustered backup for DB2, Oracle, SAN backup, and Bare-metal Recovery solution, and invented virtualDR.

Soubir Acharya completed a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur.

Soubir Acharya reports to Peter B. Ritz, CEO, Sales & Corporate Development. Soubir Acharya works with Rajarshi Das - Chief Scientific Officer, Managing Director AI Applications, Wei Ouyang - Managing Director, FX, AML & Valuations, and Dave Chez - VP, Product Engineering & Delivery.
