Denise Ibsen Cole has extensive experience in compliance and research roles, primarily at Boys Town since February 1998, where responsibilities have included compliance analysis, staff evaluation, and program auditing, along with direct care and staff training. Denise has also been involved in educational research and founded the 26.2 Step Mini-Marathon in March 2016, a unique event designed to promote community engagement. Earlier career experience includes serving as a research assistant at Boys Town National Research Hospital, focusing on long-term grants for children with disabilities, and working as an assistant family-teacher in a residential setting. Denise holds a Master of Public Administration in Non-Profit Management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University.
