Chris Ruppel

Chris Ruppel has held multiple roles in various companies since 1996. Chris began their career at Sembler Investments as Vice President in 1996 and held a leadership position as President of the Industrial Division at Ballast Point Group in 2007. In 1999, they were President of VMG Technologies, also a leadership position held at Sembler Investments. In 2011, they became General Manager of Prepaid Cards, The Americas at WEX Inc., and in 2014, they were a Director at Freedom Bank FL. In 2015, they were President of rapid! PayCard, which they founded in 2003 and achieved a management buy out of the investment company's majority position in mid 2008. From 2013 to 2017, Chris was the Founder and Member of Fathom Companies, where they opened the Press Hotel in May of 2015. In 2017, they became Chief Revenue Officer at Green Dot Corporation and Head of Direct to Consumer, leading the Direct to Consumer business lines and overseeing all direct brands. Chris was also responsible for the P&L, digital marketing team, product roadmap, strategy, resource prioritization, branding, and marketing campaigns. In 2018, they were also General Manager of Wage and Corporate Disbursements at Green Dot, where they led the PayCard, EWA, and Incentive business lines, launched rapid! OnDemand, and achieved continued growth of more than 20% annually.

Chris Ruppel attended Florida State University from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in both English and Finance from the College of Business.
