Account Partner at Fathom

Scott Mowery is the current Account Partner at Fathom. Scott has over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications. Most recently, they served as the Senior Director of Advertising at the Cleveland Clinic from October 2007 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing pay-per-click search engine marketing (PPC / SEM) initiatives covering 130+ service line campaigns, as well as paid social patient acquisition campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. Scott also managed a $9M annual media budget and two employees.

During their time at the Cleveland Clinic, Mowery generated an 11-to-1 ROI in paid search that resulted in gaining C-Suite support for a 281% increase in PPC spending over the last five years. This led to 53K patients and $322M in contribution margin during this period. Scott also planned and executed an RFP process to secure a new paid search agency of record. In addition, Mowery directed Google Analytics 4 account and tag management strategy for optimized campaign measurement. Finally, they led project management for building and updating Cleveland Clinic’s 100-year anniversary microsite.

Prior to their time at the Cleveland Clinic, Mowery served as the Marketing Manager at American Greetings Interactive from January 2005 to October 2007. Scott also served as the Marketing Manager at OfficeMax from March 2000 to December 2004.

Scott Mowery received their MBA in marketing from Cleveland State University and their BSBA in sport management from Robert Morris University. Scott also has a certification from BrightEdge in BrightEdge Advanced Certification.
