Oliver Pollard has extensive experience in geophysical modelling and research, with a PhD awarded from the University of Leeds in 2023. At the University of Leeds, Oliver served as a PhD Student and later as a Research Fellow from October 2019 to December 2023. In August 2022, Oliver worked with JBA Risk Management on flood model uncertainty quantification for a brief period. Currently, Oliver is a Scientific Developer at Fathom, starting in March 2024. Prior to these roles, Oliver gained diverse experience in different capacities, including a Machine Learning Engineer position at BrokerSense and a Materials Handler role at Brooks Life Science Systems. Academic background includes a MNatSc BSc in Natural Sciences, also obtained from the University of Leeds, between 2015 and 2019.
