Christopher Bayly

Christopher Bayly has extensive work experience in scientific software and drug discovery. Christopher served as the Scientific Software Group Director and Head of the Affinity Group at OpenEye, Cadence Molecular Sciences from January 2011 onwards. Prior to this, they worked at Merck Frosst Canada as a Senior Investigator, leading the Chemistry Modeling and Informatics group for almost two decades. During their tenure at Merck Frosst, Christopher played a key role in impacting drug discovery, especially in the area of lead optimization.

Christopher Bayly earned their PhD in Computational Chemistry from the University of New Brunswick between the years 1985 and 1990.
