Vendela Spalango

Vendela Spalango, MS, currently serves as a Senior MS Sales Development Specialist at Waters Corporation since October 2022, previously holding the position of Senior LCMS Account Manager. Vendela's experience includes working as a Broker/REALTOR at Fathom Realty and WEICHERT, REALTORS - Triangle from January 2022 to July 2025 and July 2017 to December 2021, respectively. Academic experience includes a role as a Graduate Student Researcher at North Carolina State University, focusing on geminivirus research, and serving as a Teaching Assistant for the Biochemistry of Gene Expression course. Vendela also interned at Avazyme, Inc., studying mycotoxins and cyanotoxins, and held earlier positions as a waitress at Ruths Chris Steakhouse and a dance instructor at Fred Astaire Dance Studios. Vendela earned a Master of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University, as well as an Associate of Science from Wake Technical Community College.
