Jan-Dawid (JD) Roodt

JD Roodt has worked as an iOS Developer since 2018, starting with FatSecret and then continuing as a contractor at Millipede. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as an iOS Developer at Zeen (by MixBit), where they were responsible for UI and custom app animation and code maintained in Swift 4. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at MixBit as a Software Engineer and Project Lead. Jan-Dawid (JD) was responsible for API integration, UI and design implementation, music selection and manipulation from device, video preview in AVFoundation, multiple cocoapod and third party integration, and combined Swift and Obj-C programming techniques. As Project Lead, they were in charge of the full release cycle, from drawing board to app store, and was responsible for Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, iMessage extension, and Instagram sharing extensions. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at Stone To Stars in 2012.

JD Roodt completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Otago between 2010 and 2013. Prior to that, they earned a High School Certificate from St Albans College between 2004 and 2009.
