Erik Lindqvist has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Erik began their career in the Swedish Air Force, where they served as an Officer and Aircraft Technician for several years. After leaving the military, Erik transitioned into the gaming industry, working as a Texture Artist at DLA and later as a Technical Artist at Grin, Black Rock Studio, and Avalanche Studios. At Grin, they also served as a Lead Technical Artist, leading a team and overseeing various tasks such as coordinating technical artists, improving art pipelines, and designing game play systems. Erik's most recent position was at Fatshark AB, where they worked as a Senior Technical Artist and Tech Art Craft Manager. Throughout their career, Erik has gained expertise in art optimization, memory optimization, tool scripting, and art and level profiling.

Erik Lindqvist's education history begins in 1992 when they attend Westerlundska Gymnasiet in Enköping. Erik successfully completes their studies in Technical Science at this institution. Afterward, from 1997 to 1999, Erik attends Officershögskolan in Halmstad, where they study Military Leadership & Aircraft Technology and graduates with a passing degree. In 2001, they briefly attend Cocktailskolan in Göteborg and receives Special Merits for their studies in Bartending. Erik then proceeds to enroll at Uppsala University from 2002 to 2005, where they pursue studies in Mathematics & Computer Science for two years. Finally, from 2005 to 2007, Erik attends Jönköping University, specializing in 3D for VFX and successfully passing the degree program.
