Fauji Akbar Portia Marine Terminals Limited

Fauji Akbar Portia Marine Terminals Limited (FAP) is Pakistan’s first and the only state-of-the-art automated grain and fertilizer handling facility having a dedicated berth at Port Qasim, Karachi. It is a Joint Venture between Fauji Foundation, Cargill Inc. USA, Port Investment Ltd., and National Bank of Pakistan. FAP is successfully operating since 2010 with exclusive rights of handling grain and fertilizer at Port Qasim as per the Implementation Agreement (IA) signed between FAP and Port Qasim Authority (PQA). FAP Terminal has a capacity to handle more than 4 million tons of dry bulk and breakbulk cargo annually. The Terminal is equipped with automated mechanical, pneumatic, and grab unloaders, conveying system, silos, and warehouses for safe, secure, and efficient cargo handling solutions including vessel berthing, unloading, storage, and bagging of all types of grains and fertilizers.
