Apollo Njoroge serves as the Managing Director & CEO of Faulu Microfinance Bank since December 2016, where responsibilities include formulating and implementing strategies to transform the institution into a fully-fledged profitable bank, along with guiding the transition to a new banking software. Previously, Apollo held the position of General Manager for Corporate Banking at Equity Bank Kenya from January 2005 to August 2008, contributing to the bank's growth into the largest financial institution in Kenya by customer numbers and profitability, while ensuring a high-quality asset portfolio. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Management Programme from IESE Business School in Barcelona, a Master's Degree in International Business Administration from United States International University - Africa, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Nairobi.
