Lasse Mejling

Lasse Mejling has extensive experience in various roles across different companies. Lasse is currently the President & CFO at Favro, a position they started in March 2023. Before this, they served as the VP of Strategy & Finance at Leapwork from August 2019 to February 2023. In this role, they led a team covering finance, revenue operations, strategy, internal IT, and deal desk. Lasse significantly grew the team size and expanded the company's geographic footprint.

Prior to Leapwork, Lasse worked as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from January 2015 to July 2019. Lasse specialized in IT and tech in large organizations, leading teams of consultants and clients on various engagements. Their clients spanned industries such as software, technology, airlines, and telecommunications across multiple continents.

Lasse's earlier experience includes being a PhD student and postdoc at DTU Fotonik from October 2011 to December 2014, where their research focused on quantum information processing using nonlinear optical effects. Lasse also worked as a visiting research scholar at the University of Oregon and as an academic visitor at the University of Oxford, where they continued their research in the field of quantum optics and entanglement swapping.

Furthermore, Lasse gained experience as a member of the executive board at Polyteknisk Boghandel og Forlag A/S from February 2010 to October 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a teaching assistant at the Technical University of Denmark from September 2007 to May 2011, where they taught various subjects such as mathematics, electromagnetism, mechanics, and optics.

Lasse began their career as a programmer at Skandiaweb from August 2005 to January 2009, followed by a programmer role at Portal2000 from May 2003 to August 2005.

Lasse Mejling's education history begins in 2003 when they attended Rødovre Gymnasium for high school, where they studied as a mathematical student until 2006. Following this, from 2006 to 2009, Lasse pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics and nanotechnology at DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Moving forward, they continued their studies at DTU, specializing in the field of Quantum optics, and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from 2011 to 2014. Prior to their PhD, Lasse had completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Physics and nanotechnology from DTU during 2009 to 2011.
