Alexander Levchenko

Alexander Levchenko is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in banking and microfinance. Since January 2023, Alexander serves as a Board Member for Consumer Finance at Fawry, while also holding the position of Chief Executive Officer at Fawry MSME Finance since February 2019. Prior experience includes Principal Banker at I.D. Inspiring Development GmbH from April 2017 to January 2022, where involvement included consulting for projects in Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, and Ukraine. Alexander's career at ProCredit Bank spanned from March 2004 to March 2017, encompassing various roles such as Business Development Coordinator for Energy Efficiency and Agriculture Partnership programs and Head of the Micro Clients Department. Alexander holds a master's degree in economics with a focus on management of organization from Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, complemented by further education at ProCredit Academy in Germany and ProCredit Eastern Europe Regional Academy in Macedonia.
