Merete Ravn has extensive work experience, starting in 1984 with a part-time position at DiskontoBanken / DiBa while studying. Merete then worked as a Project Manager at BFC Data from 1992 to 1993. From 1993 to 2009, they held various roles at DiBa, including IT Project Manager and e-Banking responsible. Following that, they joined Sorø Kommune in 2010 as the Leader of Digitalization, leading a team of 10 employees and overseeing various digitalization projects. Merete also served as a representative for the Digitalization Council/Development Council. In 2015, they moved to Faxe Kommune, where they worked as a Program Manager and later as the Head of PMO in the Center for Technology. Their responsibilities included establishing a PMO function and creating a partnership between the Center for Technology and the various departments. Merete Ravn's most recent role is Head of PMO at Faxe Kommune, where they continue to work on implementing a strong digital mindset and a partnership with the departments.
Merete Ravn's education history is as follows:
- From 1982 to 1985, Merete attended Næstved Gymnasium, where they pursued a Mat-fys student program.
- Following that, from 1985 to 1991, they enrolled in Copenhagen Business School and completed a degree in Cand. Merc. Dat (Cand.merc.dat).
- In 1992, Merete took a Projektlederuddannelse (Project Management Education) at IBM Danmark, which lasted for four sessions of five days each.
- Between 1992 and 2022, they participated in various conferences and courses without obtaining any specific degrees or field of study.
- In 2016, Merete pursued an Intern uddannelse (Internal Training) in Lederuddannelse (Leadership) at Sorø Kommune, which concluded in 2018.
