Myron Thompson

Myron Thompson has a solid work experience in the education sector. Myron worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Fayette County Public Schools starting in September 2015, where they provided executive management and oversaw various departments. Prior to that, from July 2013, they were the Health and Wellness Coordinator at Fayette County Public Schools. Myron also served as the Director of Risk Management at Kentucky School Boards Association from November 2004 to May 2013, where they managed insurance operations and supervised various teams.

Myron Thompson earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Risk Management and Insurance from Eastern Kentucky University, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. Myron later pursued an MBA in Business at the University of Kentucky, completing their studies from 1998 to 2001.
