Matthew Salamon

Matthew Salamon is a seasoned criminal investigator with extensive experience in law enforcement. Currently serving at the Fayette County Sheriff's Office since November 2021, Matthew specializes in general criminal investigations with a focus on sex crimes and child abuse. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as a Deputy Sheriff at MPD and held various positions including Police Officer at Geek Squad and Field Agent at Munford Police Department. Matthew's career also includes asset protection roles at Best Buy and Sports Authority, where investigations into theft and policy violations were conducted.
