Tyler C. Patton

Tyler C. Patton, M.Ed., currently serves as the Chief Communications & Community Relations Officer at the Fayetteville Public Works Commission, a position held since May 2024. Previously, Tyler was the Director of State Government & Community Affairs at Verizon from January 2022 to May 2024. During a significant tenure at Maryland Broadband Cooperative Inc. from April 2011 to December 2021, Tyler held the role of Senior Vice President of Public Affairs, advising the Board on policy and overseeing a division budget exceeding $250K. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President of Public Affairs for Queen Anne's County Government, acting as Sheriff's Public Information Officer, and roles in the Maryland General Assembly and the United States Congress. Tyler holds a Master’s degree in Education Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science & Communications from Salisbury University.
