Elaine McPherson

Elaine McPherson serves as a Community Paramedic and Life Support Coordinator at FirstHealth of the Carolinas since December 2013, with experience in telemedicine and advanced emergency treatment. Alongside this role, Elaine is a Paramedic Instructor Level II at Fayetteville Technical Community College, where instruction and testing preparation for Paramedic and EMT Basic students occur. Previous teaching experiences include a similar position at Sandhills Community College from 2014 to 2018. Prior experience as an NREMT-Paramedic includes roles at Cape Fear Valley Health System and Med1 Services, where emergency medical responses and patient care were provided. Elaine's early career includes serving as a Military Police officer in the US Army, complemented by a solid educational background in Emergency Management and Nursing, currently pursuing an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing at ECPI University.
