Mark A. Sorrells

Mark Sorrells is an accomplished educational leader currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Academic and Student Services at Fayetteville Technical Community College since January 2019. Prior to this role, Mark Sorrells held the position of Senior Vice President at the Golden LEAF Foundation from 2001 to December 2018, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to community development and education. Earlier in career, Mark Sorrells served as the Executive Director of NC REAL Enterprises from 1993 to 2001. Mark Sorrells earned a Doctor of Education degree from East Carolina University between 2015 and 2018 and holds an MBA in Finance from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, obtained in 1984.
