Majid Ali Syed

Majid Ali Syed is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in leadership roles within the banking sector. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Faysal Bank since June 2008, Majid is responsible for all financial functions and the conversion of the bank into an Islamic financial institution. Previously, Majid held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Saudi Pak Commercial Bank from September 2005 to May 2008, where responsibilities included strategic planning, budgeting, and compliance. Prior experience includes serving as a Partner at KPMG Pakistan, providing taxation services to a diverse client portfolio, and as Chief Financial Officer at Emirates Bank from 1993 to 2002. Majid is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, with an education background spanning from 1985 to 1990.
