Yousaf Hussain

Yousaf Hussain has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as the President & Chief Executive Officer of Faysal Bank Limited since August 2008. Under Yousaf's leadership, the bank has transformed from a conventional institution to the second largest Islamic Bank in Pakistan, achieving significant growth in both business and profitability. Prior roles at Faysal Bank include Chief Risk Officer, where Yousaf oversaw credit approvals and risk management, and Country Head of Special Assets Management, focusing on restructuring problem loans. Yousaf's experience also includes positions at Samba Bank Limited, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Mashreqbank, and Jazz, demonstrating a robust background in corporate banking, transaction services, and financial planning. Yousaf holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Lahore University of Management Sciences and a BSc in Electrical & Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
