Charles Kunsch

Charles Kunsch currently serves as a Member of The Supervisory Board at Captor Therapeutics SA and is the Founder and Managing Partner of Ballastone Life Science Advisors. Kunsch holds positions on the Board of Trustees for both Penn State Research Foundation and Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives, where efforts focus on fostering innovation in the life sciences. Previous experience includes a long tenure at AbbVie, culminating as Managing Director of AbbVie Ventures, where responsibilities included sourcing and leading investments and enhancing the drug discovery pipeline. Kunsch has been involved with multiple biotech companies in advisory and board roles, demonstrating extensive expertise in biotechnology, corporate governance, and strategic development. Kunsch earned a PhD in Microbiology & Immunology from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and a BS in Biological Sciences from Drexel University.
