Cameron Smith

Cameron Smith is a Partner at FB Rice, a position held since July 2013, where active participation in life sciences across Australia, particularly in Adelaide, is encouraged amid advancing initiatives like BioMed City. Prior to this role, Cameron served as an In-House Consultant for Legal and Commercialisation at Murdoch Childrens Research Institute from October 2013 to June 2014, and completed a traineeship as a Patent Attorney at Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick between April 2011 and July 2013. Cameron holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Flinders University, where research focused on RNA biology and cancer mechanisms. Educational qualifications also include a Master’s Degree in Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours) from Flinders University, highlighting a solid foundation in both science and law.
