Barbro Svedberg

Barbro Svedberg is an experienced professional in international relations and peace advocacy, currently serving as a Specialist/Senior Advisor at the Folke Bernadotte Academy since February 2021. Prior roles include Deputy Director/Advisor at the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs from September 2018 to February 2021, Policy Specialist in Women, Peace, and Security at Sida from July 2017 to August 2018, and Program Director at the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom from September 2011 to July 2017. Barbro Svedberg has also worked as a Development Consultant at Barbro Svedberg Consulting and held various positions, including Consultant and Director of Training Programmes at SIPU International AB. Barbro Svedberg holds an LLM in Public International Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science and an MSc in International Relations from the University of Oslo.
