M.D. Jashim Uddin

Md Jashim Uddin currently serves as President of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry since May 2023 and has held the position of President at FBCCI since 2021. With extensive leadership experience in various industries, Md Jashim Uddin has been Vice Chairman of Bengal Group of Industries, Bangladesh since 1980 and occupies multiple significant roles including Chairman of Bengal Commercial Bank Ltd. and Desh General Insurance Company Limited, and Vice Chairman of Bengal Cement Ltd. and Rtv. Additionally, Md Jashim Uddin is Managing Director of Designer Fashion Ltd., and a Director at Bengal Hotels & Resorts Ltd. Previous leadership includes the presidency of the Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BPGMEA) from 2012 to 2021.
