John Cahalan

John Cahalan has a diverse work experience in the insurance sector. John currently holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer at FBD Insurance since July 2017. Prior to that, they worked at AXA as the Head of Sales & Branch Network from January 2006 to June 2017. Additionally, John has also worked as the European Insurance Manager at GE Money from 1999 to 2005.

John Cahalan has a diverse education history spanning several years. John earned a Chartered Director (CDir) degree in Developing Board Performance from the Institute of Directors in Ireland IOD from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they attended the Insurance Institute of Ireland in 2016, where they pursued studies in the CIP program. In 2014 and 2015, they also attended the Insurance Institute of Ireland, although the level of degree or field of study is not specified. Before that, they obtained an MBA in Business from University College Dublin, attending from 2001 to 2003. In their earlier years, John completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Applied Economics from University College Cork in 1994 and 1995, followed by a BA in Economics at the same institution from 1991 to 1994.
