Nechepurenko Igor is a researcher with extensive experience in the fields of optics and electromagnetic engineering. Currently employed at Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik since December 2021, Nechepurenko previously served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Radio-engineering and Electronics, where responsibilities included modeling and designing fiber optical devices. Prior roles include Leading Researcher and Senior Researcher at Dukhov Research Institute of Automatics, focusing on developing optical devices and modeling nanostructures for controllable optical response. Nechepurenko has also worked as a Lecturer and Research Fellow at the Faculty of Physics, National Research University Higher School of Economics, teaching electrodynamics and optics. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Engineer at SPUTNIX Ltd, emphasizing satellite communication systems, and Research Scientist at the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Electrodynamics, investigating plasmonic materials. Nechepurenko holds a Ph.D. in Physics and a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
