Pietro Della Casa is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in the field of epitaxy and semiconductor materials. Currently a Researcher at Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik since July 2014, Pietro specializes in the epitaxy of GaAs-based devices. Previously, Pietro held the position of R&D Engineer at Avago Technologies from 2006 to April 2014, focusing on III-V materials for edge emitting lasers, and at Agilent Technologies from 2000 to 2006, where duties included semiconductor processing and material characterization. Pietro holds a doctoral degree in Physics from Technische Universität Berlin and has a Laurea Magistrale LM in Chemistry from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, with studies also completed at Università di Pavia.
