Fcca Segun Ilesanmi

Segun Ilesanmi has a diverse work experience in the financial sector. Segun currently holds the position of Head of Risk Management & Compliance at FBNQuest since April 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Compliance Officer at FBNQuest Capital Limited starting from January 2017.

From December 2013 to December 2016, Segun worked as a Compliance Manager at FBN Capital Limited. In this role, they liaised with regulatory agencies, monitored statutory returns, implemented AML/CFT compliance programs, and coordinated staff training.

Segun's experience also includes a role as a Compliance Officer at FBN Trustees Limited from May 2012 to December 2013. Segun started their career at FBN Trustees as an Equity Portfolio Manager/Treasury from February 2008 to April 2012, where they focused on constructing portfolios and analyzing investment activities.

Before joining FBN Trustees, Segun worked as a Relationship Manager at WSTC Financial Services Limited from June 2007 to February 2008.

Segun Ilesanmi, FCCA, MBA has a diverse education history. Segun obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos, from 2001 to 2006. In 2017, they attended Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, where they studied Leadership and People Management. The same year, they also pursued a Global MBA at Hult International Business School, completing it in 2019.

Segun has also continued their professional development through certifications. Segun became a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2019, specializing in Accounting and Finance. Segun also holds the designation of Level 2 CFA Candidate from the CFA Institute, a certification they have been pursuing since 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Segun has obtained additional certifications to enhance their expertise. Segun is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMLS) from ACAMS and a Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) from the International Academy of Business and Financial Management.

Further, Segun Ilesanmi has recently pursued a Certificate in Data Analytics from ACCA, completing it in 2021.
