FC Copa Academy
Roberto Aguas is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in sports management and technology. Currently serving as the Owner and CEO of Performance Sports Center since October 2022, Aguas also holds dual roles as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at United Women's Soccer since September 2017. Aguas founded FC Copa Academy in January 2004, serving as its President and Academy Director, focusing on youth soccer development. Additionally, Aguas founded New Jersey Copa FC in 2015, furthering the mission of nurturing homegrown talent in soccer. As Founder and CEO of Copa Holdings, LLC, Aguas invests in sports ventures with a focus on soccer. Previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at Exodon, LLC, and Vice President at several technology firms, including Serviceware Technologies and SuperNova, Inc. Aguas is a Rutgers University alumnus.
