Romain Diaz has a diverse work experience in the field of Venture Capital and technology. Romain is the Founder & CEO of Satgana, a Climate Tech VC firm that invests in planet-positive startups. Romain provides Pre-Seed & Seed capital and strategic resources to purpose-driven entrepreneurs working towards addressing the climate & ecological crisis.

Romain has also worked as an Advisor at Launch Africa Ventures, an active VC investor in Africa. Romain offers their expertise in supporting the company's investment activities across multiple countries.

In addition, Romain serves as an Advisor and Investor in several other organizations, including Antler, Fermify, Rebel Tech, Loewi, Yeasty, Orbio Earth, and Mazi Mobility. Romain'srole as an Investor involves identifying potential investment opportunities and providing financial support to these companies.

Before their current roles, Romain co-founded FCB.ai (formerly known as FinChatBot) in 2016. FCB.ai specializes in building conversational AI solutions for the financial industry, helping financial service providers enhance sales, reduce costs, and gain valuable insights from customer interactions. Romain served as a Co-Founder and later as a Co-Founder & Board Member of the company.

Romain Diaz's education history begins in 2003 when they obtained a High School Diploma (Summa Cum Laude) from Lycée Saint Joseph du Loquidy. From 2006 to 2008, they attended Lycée Saint Joseph du Loquidy again, this time for Preparatory School. In 2010, Romain Diaz enrolled at emlyon business school and completed a Master of Science in Management, specializing in Entrepreneurship/Business Administration, in 2012. During the same year, they also participated in the Entrepreneurs for Asia program at East China Normal University. In 2011, they pursued an MBA program at Universidad de las Américas Puebla, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Additionally, in November 2019, Romain Diaz obtained two certifications, "How to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals" and "Transforming our World - Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals," from Columbia University in the City of New York.
