Genesis Oh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries.

In 2021, Genesis worked at FCB Chicago as a Senior Strategic Analyst. They were responsible for creating client-facing reporting decks using creative data storytelling to convey performance and suggest future recommendations. Genesis also reported monthly and quarterly on website performance, email, organic and paid social, and display for multiple clients. They maintained a Tableau dashboard for large datasets and created test plans for analyzing email creative components.

Prior to that, Genesis worked as a Strategic Analyst at FCB Chicago from 2021 to 2022.

In 2020, Genesis was a Marketing Data Specialist at Whirlpool Corporation. In this role, they managed data governance and digital assets for national accounts like Best Buy and Home Depot, while adhering to each trade partner's specific Data Standards. Genesis also managed new product launches to retailer e-commerce and troubleshooted data/asset issues on retailer product detail pages.

During the same year, Genesis also worked at Villing & Company as a Content Specialist and as a Marketing Intern. As a Content Specialist, they outlined and maintained social media strategy, created and proofed a weekly social media plan, and posted and scheduled content. As a Marketing Intern, they assisted agency account executives in their work with clients and new business efforts, conducted research, and worked on special projects.

From 2019 to 2020, Genesis worked at Patterson Companies, Inc. as a Communications Specialist. They were responsible for photographing dental and vet supplies for use on the company's website and catalog. Genesis also managed the image library, style guides, and nomenclature conventions.

From 2018 to 2019, Genesis worked at Conn-Selmer, Inc. as a Photographer. They were responsible for creating professional and compelling photography for utilization in print and digital marketing platforms. Genesis also managed the planning and production of all photos in line with the photoproduction plan.

In 2017, Genesis worked at Indiana University South Bend. They held the positions of College of Liberal Arts and Sciences - Social Media Coordinator and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences - Photographer. As a Social Media Coordinator, Genesis was responsible for creating and scheduling content for various social media platforms used by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. As a Photographer, they photographed and edited new content for the various departments at the college for the website and rack cards, as well as photographed and edited college and Civil Rights Heritage Center events.

In 2014, Genesis worked at The Tire Rack as a Digital Imaging Assistant and as a Photography Intern. As a Digital Imaging Assistant, they assisted with digital imaging tasks. As a Photography Intern, they gained practical experience in photography.

Genesis's career began in 2013 as an Assistant Photographer at By Kelly and Justin Photography. In this role, they acted as a second photographer for various weddings, helped with light setup and carried equipment, and took candid, composed, and detail shots.

In 2012, Genesis worked at JCPenney as a Sales Specialist. They served as a sales associate, cashier, provided excellent customer service, ran catalog pickups, restocked merchandise, and specialized in men's Levi and Arizona jeans styles and sizes.

Genesis Oh attended Elkhart Memorial High School from 2010 to 2014, where they completed their high school education. Genesis then went on to study at the Elkhart Area Career Center from 2012 to 2014, specializing in Commercial Photography. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree at Indiana University South Bend from 2014 to 2019. Genesis double concentrated in Advertising and Marketing during their time in university.
