Daniel Balbuena Huergo is an experienced surveying engineer with a robust background in topography and civil engineering. Currently serving as Ingeniero Topógrafo at FCC Servicios Ciudadanos since July 2019, Daniel is involved in maintaining the high-speed rail line between Madrid and Barcelona, focusing on field data collection and analysis of monthly reports regarding track conditions. Previous roles include being a Technical Surveying Engineer at Toyser, S.A., where responsibilities involved technical assistance and structural load testing, as well as at HERCAL DIGGERS S.L., providing topographic control for civil works. Daniel's expertise further encompasses skills in 3D measurement and digitalization for BIM projects, honed during tenure at Solumetrics. Additionally, Daniel has a comprehensive educational background in Topography and Geomatics from the Universidad de Oviedo and Universidad de León, complemented by a professional certification in Occupational Risk Prevention from Bureau Veritas.
