Mauricio Aristizabal

Mauricio Aristizabal, P.Eng, is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience in tunnel construction and project management. Currently, Mauricio serves as a Senior SEM Tunnel Construction Coordinator at FCC, contributing to the Scarborough Subway Extension since September 2023. Prior to this role, Mauricio worked at EllisDon as an Assistant Manager/Superintendent for the Eglinton LRT from January 2022 to November 2023. With a background that includes positions as an Assistant Superintendent, SEM Tunnel Engineer, and SEM Tunnel/Construction Surveyor at Crosslinx Transit Solutions from April 2016 to November 2023, and a Surveyor for the City of Toronto from 2010 to 2013, Mauricio has built a solid foundation in both technical and managerial aspects of engineering. Mauricio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Lakehead University (2013-2015) and a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from Seneca Polytechnic (2010-2013).
