Erika is a storyteller and strategic thinker who thrives working at the nexus of social issues and communications. She has spearheaded a variety of projects involving local government, public health, environmental justice, early childhood education, and anti-poverty efforts. She has led FCP’s work with late Alameda County Supervisor Wilma Chan, the Kenneth Rainin Foundation, Alameda County Health Care Services Agency, Kidango, and Contra Costa Health Services. Her expertise includes conducting strategic communications planning and messaging development processes and leading media outreach efforts.
Prior to FCP, Erika worked at NextGen Climate (now NextGen America) during the 2016 election. Erika graduated from University of California Berkeley with degrees in political economy and English literature.
