Sarah Hersh-Walker

Chief Operating Officer at FCP Communications

Sarah develops communications strategies, oversees communications campaigns, and leads coalition communications efforts. She specializes in environmental and land conservation communications, and has collaborated with clients such the Conservation Lands Foundation, Resources Legacy Fund, and the California Environmental Voters. She has overseen numerous communications campaigns in support of national monument designations, federal and state legislation, and public land planning processes by federal agencies.

Prior to FCP, Sarah worked for Bay Area local and federal elected officials, including serving as Congressman Jerry McNerney’s Communications Director in Washington, D.C. She is a graduate of Pitzer College in Claremont, California and an alumnus of New Leaders Council, a national program that trains young political entrepreneurs.
