Doug Cox has a diverse work experience spanning from 2001 to 2019. Doug started their career as an Agricultural Instructor and FFA Advisor at Green Ridge R-VIII High School, where they created lesson plans, maintained student records, and communicated with parents. In 2007, they transitioned to the financial sector and joined Farm Credit Mid-America as a Financial Services Officer. In this role, they established professional relationships, provided agricultural and financial information to assist farming businesses, and increased the association's market share. Doug then progressed through various roles at Farm Credit Mid-America, including Assistant Vice President and Associate Vice President. Doug led teams, implemented strategies to improve loan decision turnaround time, and contributed to process improvement initiatives. In 2018, Doug joined Enterprise Bank & Trust as an AVP and Senior Credit Analyst before moving to their current position at FCS Financial as the Vice President of Agribusiness Capital.
Doug Cox holds a Master of Science (MS) degree and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Doug also obtained a State of Missouri Teacher's Certificate in Agricultural Education, specializing in grades 9-12, Career CPC, and PC 1. The year of obtaining the Career CPC certificate is unknown, but the PC 1 certificate was obtained in June 2001.
