Charlot Alkhoven has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Charlot started their career as an Eindredacteur at Uitgeverij Kidsgids in 2000, where they were responsible for the composition and execution of the "KidsGids Vakantie" edition. Charlot then worked at Wegener as an Arbeidsmarkt Communicatie in 2005. Shortly after, they joined AD Nieuwsmedia as Binnendienst Nationale Markt and later shifted to the role of Accountmanager Binnendienst Nationale Markt. In 2009, Charlot worked as a Coordinator PR & Promotie at Marmoucha. Charlot then joined Kargadoor as a Vrijwilliger, where they contributed to the social-cultural activities of the center. Currently, Charlot is working at FD Mediagroep as a Sales Support, a role they have been holding since December 2012.
Charlot Alkhoven attended Hu University of Applied Sciences Utrecht from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in the School of Journalism. In 2002, they studied Kunstgeschiedenis en Italiaanse Taal & Cultuur at Utrecht University for the period of 2002 to 2004. Additionally, in 2002, Charlot also briefly studied Italian Culture at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
