Jacomien van Doorn has experience working in various roles in the media and advertising industry. Jacomien began their career as a Senior Recruiter at StarJob the secretary network from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, they joined Exterion Media as an Account Manager, where they managed key clients and generated new business until 2008. Jacomien then moved up to the role of Senior Account Manager at Exterion Media until 2009, achieving new business sales targets. From 2009 to 2012, they served as an International Key Account Manager at Exterion Media, developing and implementing new business sales strategies. Jacomien then joined NewBase - Connected Marketing in 2012 as an International Media & Sales Manager, where they were responsible for exclusive sales agent roles and creating multi-channel campaigns. In 2016, they were promoted to the position of International Media & Sales Director at NewBase. In 2017, Jacomien joined FD Mediagroep as the Head of Digital Sales & Development, overseeing the digital sales and development department.

Jacomien van Doorn received their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a major in Hotel Management, from the Hotel Management School Maastricht in the years 1999-2003. In 2008, they completed a Marketing Communication program at SRM. Jacomien also attended the Ichthus college from 1993 to 1999 and graduated as a pre-university (VWO) student. In 2018, Jacomien studied Customer Journey Management at the Beeckestijn Business School. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Online Marketing from Leaped in 2017.
