Chester Ong Chin Hao

Chester Ong Chin Hao has had diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2017, they interned at the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore (URA), where they worked in Information Systems & Geo-Spatial, conducting regression analysis and creating a data cleaning algorithm. In 2018, they interned at Shopee as a Regional Operations Tech Intern. In 2019, Chester worked as a Backend Developer at reflect, focusing on database restructuring and process flow migration. Chester also interned at PayPal as a Global Compliance SE Intern. In 2020, they joined Visa as a Database Engineer, and in 2022, they moved to DBS Bank as a Software Engineer. Most recently, Chester started working as a DevOps Engineer at FeatureByte in September 2022. Additionally, they have academic experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and a Teaching Assistant at Singapore Management University, where they supported students in computational thinking and data management courses.

Chester Ong Chin Hao obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Singapore Management University, from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, they were an Affiliate Student at UCL, studying Management Science. Chester also obtained additional certifications, including the Introductory kdb+ Level 1 Course from KDB+ in December 2018, and the ACFP certification from the Financial Planning Association of Singapore.
