Piotrek Skalski

Piotrek Skalski is a highly skilled research scientist currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Featurespace since March 2021, where focus lies on developing machine learning models for financial fraud detection, emphasizing deep learning techniques. Prior experience includes an internship as an NLP Research Intern at DeepOpinion, exploring model compression techniques, and a PhD in Spintronics from the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Prof. Hennig Sirringhaus. Piotrek also gained experience as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at INFORMETIS EUROPE LIMITED, building models for household appliance activity detection, and contributed as a team member in a project assessing the commercial potential of emulsification technology.
