Stephan CASTAGNET has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Stephan started their career at Ingenico as a Development & Integration Engineer, where they were responsible for integrating GSM and radio modules into payment terminal equipment. Stephan then worked at Alcatel Mobile Phones as a System Engineer, focusing on system development. Stephan joined NEC Corporation as a Standardization Group Leader, leading a team in standardization efforts.
In 2003, Stephan joined LG Electronics where they held various roles. As a Technical Account Sr. Manager, they managed product launches and coordinated with R&D for software validation and delivery. Stephan also provided technical support to sales and marketing teams and assessed product services for product segmentation. Stephan was later promoted to Technologies Planning Senior Manager, where they provided recommendations on technologies and served as the technical interface between European operators and R&D and Marketing teams.
Stephan then joined Acer in 2010. Stephan started as a Pre-Sales and Telco Project Manager, responsible for smartphones, tablets, and wearables, and later became a Pre-Sales Sr. Manager for Smart Products & Cloud BU in EMEA. In this role, they focused on business development, created and submitted RFP/RFQ for wholesales offers, and managed financial aspects and projects with MVNO partners. Stephan successfully launched a GPS tracker with Transatel during their tenure.
Most recently, Stephan joined FEC France as a Pre-Sales & Technical Sr. Manager. FEC provides support to integrated store chains and partner networks across various sectors. Stephan has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, working in over 72 countries.
Stephan Castagnet attended ISEP - école d'ingénieurs du numérique from 1990 to 1993. During this time, they obtained a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Electronics, Computing, and Telecommunications.
