FED SHERPAS
Benjamin Stinson's work experience includes founding and serving as President of Fed Sherpas since November 2021. Benjamin is also the Founder and CEO of Force X Group (FXG), a role they took on in April 2022. Prior to these ventures, Stinson worked as a Vigneron at Feisty Fox Farms, overseeing the cultivation of approximately 850 vines of Vidal Blanc. Benjamin also served as a Member of the Technology Business Management Council. Stinson's previous experience includes roles such as CIO and Digital Practice Lead at IOMAXIS, Executive Director of Enterprise IT Portfolio at Marine Corps Systems Command, and Commanding Officer of Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) in the United States Marine Corps. Benjamin also worked as a Project Manager for the Robotic Systems Joint Project Office in the US Army and as a Program Manager for Air Defense Weapons and Unmanned Systems at Marine Corps Systems Command. Stinson began their career in the US Navy as Deputy Program Manager for ATC Systems and Deputy Program Manager for Unmanned Air Systems.
Benjamin Stinson has a diverse education history with a focus on defense systems acquisition management and public administration. Benjamin holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Defense Systems Acquisition Management from the Naval Postgraduate School. Additionally, they have a Post-Masters Certificate in Logistics and Technology Advanced Course from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Benjamin also obtained a Certificate in Leadership for a Democratic Society from the Federal Executive Institute.
For their undergraduate studies, Benjamin attended Oregon State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in General Science. Benjamin furthered their education by completing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Oklahoma.
In addition to their formal education, Benjamin has obtained several certifications. Benjamin received a certificate in Digital Transformation: From AI and IoT to Cloud, Blockchain and Cybersecurity from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in August 2019. Benjamin also holds a DAWIA Level 3 certification in Program Management from the Defense Acquisition University, which they obtained in March 2004. Furthermore, they received certification as an Air Traffic Control Tower Operator from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1992. Lastly, Benjamin obtained an Enterprise Data Management Associate certification from the CMMI Institute in October 2019.
