Amira M. Al Awais has extensive experience in information technology, specifically within the public sector in the United Arab Emirates. Since January 2009, Amira has held various positions at the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), currently serving as the Head of the Networks and Servers Section. The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources aims at development of Human Resources in the Government Sector based on Modern concepts and the International criteria applied in the field of Human Resources Management. The Authority has the independent legal personality and the necessary legal capacity to perform all the works and disposals, which ensure achievement of its objectives, it has financial, and management independence and it belongs to the Cabinet. Entrusted with general powers and responsibilities related to the Management of Human Resources of the Ministries and Federal Authorities, subject of this decree, which constitutes a 'strong promising future launch in the field of Human Resources Development in the Federal Government Ministries and Authorities'. The Authority exclusively handles the study and proposal of policies and legislations related to Human Resources at Government level and assist the Ministries to implement adequately the legislations related to Human Resources and to make sure that the Ministries adhere to the provisions of this Decree and the bye-laws issued in implementation thereof and to look into the objections against decisions of Complaints Committee and any other competence entrusted to the Authority by the Cabinet.
