Brian Morris

Acting Manager, International Office, Aircraft Certification Service at Federal Aviation Administration

Brian Morris has over three decades of experience in aviation and military operations. Currently serving as the Acting Manager of the International Office within the Aircraft Certification Service at the Federal Aviation Administration since July 2006, Brian also holds the position of Special Assistant to the Director of Aircraft Certification and has worked as a Foreign Affairs Specialist. In addition to these roles, Brian manages the Executive Support Office, providing senior technical advice to the agency's leadership. Prior to joining the FAA, Brian worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at Transaero Inc from 1994 to 2006 and had a notable career in the United States Air Force from 1981 to 1994, with various leadership roles at multiple bases. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from The Citadel and two Master of Science degrees in International Relations from Troy University.
