Jamie Peters

Jamie Peters is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in avionics and electrical systems. Currently serving as a Senior Aerospace Engineer at the Federal Aviation Administration since August 2020, Jamie has a strong background as a Sole Proprietor at JCP Aircraft Certification Services, LLC, providing consulting certification services for various aircraft. Previous roles include leading the Aircraft Certification Engineering team at Carlisle Interconnect Technologies, where Jamie managed long-term agreements with the FAA and coordinated compliance reviews. Additionally, Jamie has expertise in after-market avionics upgrades from tenure at Derco Aerospace, Inc., and holds both a Master’s degree in Engineering Management and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
