John Posey

John Posey has extensive experience in aviation safety and regulatory oversight, currently serving as the Division Manager for the Aircraft Evaluation Division at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) since June 2019. With a career at the FAA beginning in 1993, John has held various leadership roles, including Flight Standards Advanced Air Mobility Integration Lead and Manager of multiple Certificate Management Offices. Notable achievements include managing teams of aviation safety professionals and contributing to the regulatory oversight of major airlines and cargo carriers. John holds a Doctoral degree in Business Administration from California Coast University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University.
