Khailaa Hosny

Khailaa Hosny has extensive experience in the aerospace and engineering sectors, currently serving as a Program Manager for International Validation and Certification at the FAA since May 2002, following a role in Aircraft Design Certification. Prior to joining the FAA, Khailaa worked at Rolls-Royce from February 1985 to December 2001 as a Development Engineer and Technical Advisor, focusing on digital controls, EMI/lightning, and engine operability/performance. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Engineer at Cummins Engine from August 1978 to February 1985, where responsibilities encompassed system design, software design/programming, and procurement of sensors and modules. Khailaa holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, earned between 1977 and 1978.
