Mark Hoover

Mark Hoover is an experienced professional in aviation and people services, currently serving as Acting Director at ATO People Services since October 2018. With a career at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) beginning in October 1990, Mark holds the position of Deputy Director in the Air Traffic Organization's People Services, overseeing administrative and personnel services. Previous roles within the FAA include Management positions in Diversity, Strategy & Performance, and Air Traffic Automation System Requirements. Mark began his career as a Logistics Management Specialist in the US Navy, focusing on Naval Aviation Maintenance. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from West Virginia University, completed in 1982.
