Paul Cianciolo

Paul Cianciolo is a seasoned technical writer and editor with extensive experience in aviation safety and public affairs. Currently serving as the Technical Writer-Editor for the FAA since 2012, Paul leads social media efforts related to general aviation safety and contributes to the FAA Safety Briefing magazine. Additionally, as a board member for OTR Wellness, Paul assists in guiding a nonprofit focused on first responder wellness. Paul has a long history of volunteer leadership roles within the Civil Air Patrol, including positions as National Capital Wing Assistant Director of Finance and Vice Commander. Previous positions also include founding Capital Hostels LLC and serving as a board member for Hostelling International USA. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from National Louis University and an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Northern Virginia Community College.
